Year 6 Science - Light

This half term in Year 6 Science, we have been exploring the fascinating topic of Light. We investigated how we see objects, how light travels in straight lines, and how reflection helps us to see the world around us. We also learned about the different parts of the eye and how they work together to allow us to see clearly.

As part of our learning, we studied the famous scientist Albert Einestein and discovered how his work helped to develop our understanding of light and the universe.

To apply our knowledge, we designed and built our own periscopes, using mirrors and reflection to see around obstacles just like submarines do!
