Breakfast and After-School Club
Free Breakfast Club:
Flamstead End School has been selected as an early adopter of the Department for Education’s new Breakfast Club initiative. You may have heard about this programme.
The Breakfast Club is open to pupils from Reception to Year 6, sessions start at 8:00 am, children will be offered a simple breakfast of toast or cereal—we appreciate your understanding that budgets are limited.
To ensure the smooth running of the club, please note:
- Arrival time: Children must arrive by 8:15 am at the latest. After this time, breakfast will not be provided. All children will be taken to their classrooms at 8:40 am to begin the school day.
- Location: KS2 dining area and main hall.
- Entry: Gate 2 and 3 will open at 7.55am allowing entry via the hall door adjacent to the year 6 classrooms.
- Booking: to book for this half term, please contact the school office. We will notify parents when bookings for the second half of the summer term open.
- Sessions: Parents can choose to sign up for specific days rather than committing to a full week.
- Dietary Requirements: Please ensure your child’s dietary requirements are up to date on Arbor so we can accommodate any specific needs.
As this is a pilot programme, we expect the club to evolve, and as it becomes more established, we may be able to offer more flexible booking arrangements.
If you have any questions, please direct them to the school office in the first instance.
