Lanisha Butterfiled author visit

Pupils at Flamstead End School were thrilled to welcome bestselling author Lanisha Butterfield for a very special visit this week. All week long, all year groups have been taking part in a whole school writing unit based on one of her books so they were amazed to meet the author in real life.

Lanisha captivated the children as she read aloud from her bestselling book, Flower Block, bringing the story and its characters to life for pupils across the school. The visit also included an engaging Q&A session, where children had the opportunity to ask their own questions about writing, storytelling and how Lanisha comes up with her imaginative ideas.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were inspired by Lanisha’s creativity, enthusiasm and passion for reading and writing.
