Y1 Science

This term, our Year 1 children have been exploring the wonderful world of plants in science. They have learnt to name and label wild and garden plants, including the trees found around our school grounds. 

The children also had the exciting opportunity to plant their own seeds and plants and carefully observe how they grow over time. Alongside this, they have been learning about why plants are so important to us and to the world around us. 

It has been a fantastic topic, full of curiosity, hands-on learning and careful observation.
