Nursery-Name writing with rice

In nursery, the children enjoyed writing their names using rice and paint brushes. They thought it was funny and exciting to write in the rice, which encouraged them to join in and have a go.

This activity helped to strengthen their hand and finger muscles and improve hand-eye coordination. It also supported early writing as the children recognised the letters in their own names and began to form them.

The children talked about what they were doing and showed pride in their work, helping to build confidence and communication skills.
