Year 6 WW2 workshop

Year 6 pupils took part in an engaging World War Two workshop exploring life for children in England in 1940. Everyone got dressed up in typical 1940s fashion, which helped set the scene for the day. Pupils learned about rationing, school life and evacuation, and enjoyed a practical role play visiting shops and spending old-fashioned English money. The hands-on activities brought history to life and deepened pupils’ understanding of this important period.
