Science club

In science club, we have been working scientifically to experiment with different materials and to work in groups to build a structure which will float and carry a weight.

The children worked so well as a team to communicate their ideas and work together to build the tallest tower which had to stay up!

Then we made foil boats which held a weight and need float at the same time. The children found it challenging to build a boat which would hold up to 100 paper clips. We had a winning group who had a total of over 80 paper clips inside the foil boat.
