Year 5 Egyptians Workshop

YEAR 5 LIFE IN ANCIENT EGYPT DAY

To complement our study of Ancient Egypt, we have invited History Off the Page to provide a Life in Ancient Egypt Day in the school on Wednesday 9^th December.

The workshop, which will take place in the school hall during normal school hours, will give us a feeling of what it was like to be an Egyptian in ancient times. On the day, your child will experience life as it would have been during the 14th century BC under the reign of Pharaoh Akhenaten. The children will learn about the issues of the time, with the opportunity to participate in a range of cross-curricular activities and crafts. The children may keep the items they make.
