Year 2 Trip to Cheshunt Park

As part of our Geography ‘Local Area’ unit, and to celebrate all our hard work, Year 2 are planning a trip to Cheshunt Park on Friday 23rd May 2025.

We aim to leave school at 9:30am and will be spending the morning exploring different locations around the park. The children will take photographs during the visit to help them create a map back in the classroom.

After the morning activities, the children will enjoy a packed lunch at the park. Please provide your child with a packed lunch on this day. If you would prefer Aspens to provide a packed lunch, please ensure you order it by Monday 19^th May, by clicking here, packed lunches will be charged at the same rate as a school lunch.

To ensure your child is comfortable and safe during the trip, please make sure they come to school with:

• A sun hat
• A filled water bottle
• Suitable footwear for walking in the park
• Sun cream applied before they arrive at school

As we hold an annual consent for XX to attend local visits, you do not need to give consent in any other way.
