Science- Animals including humans

Our class had been talking about what babies, toddlers, teenagers and adults could do. We then started talking about how some toddlers could do some things that 6 and 7 years olds could do. This prompted us to complete an investigation: Do the tallest children have the biggest feet? Children drew around their feet and measured how tall they were.  We concluded that the tallest child in our class did not have the biggest feet. Click here to see more images.

In Science we have been looking at different plants and trees. We explored the plants in our school grounds.  We also planted a wild flower bucket and some sunflowers so we could compare how wild flowers and garden flowers grow. SLU Plants resized (1) SLU Plants resized (2)

In Art and Design we have been investigating different fabrics and then we created our own fabric samples, using weaving skills. We have practiced weaving using different materials such as cotton and thread.
