Nursery and Pre-School combined 30 Hours Free Childcare (30 hours FEE) - September 2018. The closing date for receipt of applications into school is Midday Thursday 29th March 2018.  We also offer a number of places under the extended FEE scheme.  For more information, please click here or to apply click here.  All applications received will be acknowledged by email.

Pre-School – September 2018  Pre-School admissions for Free Early Education and fee paid places are open all year depending upon eligibility and/or availability. For September 2018 intake specifically (children born 01/09/14-31/08/15) the application process is open.  We also have places available for both fee paying and eligible funded two year olds (children born 01/09/15-31/08/16).  The closing date for receipt of applications into school is Midday Thursday 29th March 2018.  For more information please click here or to apply click here.

The admission procedure for both 15 and 30 hours Free Early Education (FEE) in Hertfordshire is now managed by individual settings.  Flamstead End School is therefore its own admissions authority for our Nursery and Pre-School places.

Reception Admissions September 2018 - Applications for Reception places 2018 are now open through Hertfordshire County Council who manage Reception admissions for Flamstead End School  using our Determined Admission Arrangements 18/19. School Admission Appeals


Flamstead End School is consulting on the proposed admissions arrangements for the school year 2019/20 and is seeking responses from parent/carers, schools and community groups.
The proposed changes are:
  1. To amend the wording and definition of ‘Rule 5 – Nearest School’ to include all schools and academies (regarding of status) unless that school or academy prioritises applications and allocates places on the basis of faith.
