CPRE Hertfordshire Children’s Art Competition

The 2018 CPRE Hertfordshire children’s art competition theme is The Sky at Night.

The Hertfordshire Campaign to Protect Rural Britain has launched its annual art competition for schools. The competition is open to children from Preschool to Year 6 and in previous years Flamstead End has seen winners of this art competition.

This year’s CPRE Hertfordshire children’s art competition is based on The Sky at Night and the national campaign against light pollution. The concern they raise is that, even in the countryside, genuine dark starry nights are becoming harder to find. Security lights, floodlights and streetlights all break into the darkness and create a veil of light across the night sky. For more information visit Letters Home...
